I’m Hadas Arazi, a multidisciplinary artist, photographer, pianist, and musician. My practice brings together photography, digital art, video art, generative AI, augmented reality, music, and sound design. **What makes my augmented reality works distinctive is that I create a digital layer specifically for each physical piece.** Viewing the print through a phone’s camera reveals a new layer of movement and sound. Each work unfolds in its own way through video, animation, original music, or soundscapes developed from the image itself. My work explores how human experiences, particularly those of women, leave traces in the body. I’m drawn to the gap between what is visible and what the body carries beneath the surface, shaped by memory, intimacy, pain, and social expectations. I work with my own photographs and imagery made using generative AI, digitally taking images apart and reassembling them. Slowing a movement or introducing a fracture can reveal something easily missed at first glance. I studied at the Israel Conservatory of Music and hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music education. My classical training shapes how I compose images through rhythm, tension, and repetition. In some works, layers of image and sound unfold simultaneously, each at its own pace. I managed a contemporary art gallery for about a decade. That experience deepened my interest in how the placement of a work shapes the viewer’s encounter with it. My work has been exhibited and is held in
