Accessibility statement

Art belongs to everyone — and an art website should too. walll.art works to make the site accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013, and strives to comply with Israeli Standard (IS 5568), which is based on the WCAG 2.1 guidelines at Level AA.

• Keyboard navigation — the site can be navigated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
• Semantic structure — hierarchical headings, ARIA roles and alt text for meaningful images, for the benefit of screen readers.
• Contrast — text colors were checked for adequate contrast ratios against the site's backgrounds.
• Reduced motion — the site honors the prefers-reduced-motion setting: anyone who asked their operating system for fewer animations gets a quiet experience, including static alternatives to animated elements.
• Hebrew support — the Hebrew site is built fully right-to-left (RTL).
• Responsiveness — the site adapts to every screen size, including browser text zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
• Forms — fields with clear labels and explained error messages.

We're honest: some things aren't perfect yet, and we improve them continuously:

• Third-party embedded content (video players, social media embeds) depends on those services' accessibility.
• Image descriptions for artworks uploaded by artists depend on the information the artist provided — we're working to complete them.
